martyrs” ALSO remains the benchmark for up-and-
coming generations of Christians . . for Baptized Catholics
first and foremost [ possessing the Apostolic Mass, the
Eucharist, and the Sacraments] but also for our Separated
Brethren, who DO possess the Scriptures . . the Word
of God.
Ven. Bishop Sheen —in his autobiographical ch. 13,
“The Hour That Makes My Day” [ for 60 years !] —
introduced [ with enthusiastic results ] Ministers,
Pastors, and “intense” Christians like the parents of
both Dr. Scott Hahn and his wife Kimberly to spend
an hour each day with the Word of God, just as
Catholics have the opportunity (24/7 in many parishes)
to spend an hour before the Blessed Sacrament in their
Parish Church . . Christ’s “Real Presence”.
Looks like we Catholics “in the Know” have a golden
opportunity TO EVENGELIZE fellow Catholics who remain
“locked out” from the Divine Treasure that is THEIRS
by right of their Baptism !!
What comes next? Read the Scriptures especially Thessalonians 1&2 and the Book of Revelation. We know what to do and this coming Lent we must do it. Remain in the state of Grace, pray the Rosary and most of all do penance.
