After scrounging for a response —thinking
specifically of the Novus Ordo parish [ the only
Catholic parish . . VERY large ] in town — well,
what won’t go away is, to be blunt, so long as
the NO/Bugnini/Protestantized mass dominates
the practised Liturgy scene [ I’m in Western
Canada ], and so long as the PROFOUND ignorance
of the Faith by the vast majority of “non bad”,
well-meaning Catholics isn’t addressed
. . ain’t nothing much going to change.
The Fifty-Four Day Novena looks like a SERIOUS
good start towards change, towards the conversion
—uh, myself as well !! —of Rome’s immanentist,
manichaean interlopers.
