Seeing the infrequency of confession among the novus ordo, it seems the notion of self-righteousness is rampant in that sector of the church. And self-righteousness is the sign of corruption.
Is this Austen Ivereigh even Catholic? Doesn’t sound like he knows what the word means. Last I heard from a priest who is authorized to celebrate multiple Eastern rites in our diocese: there are at least 22 Catholic rites. Not just “one roman rite” from Vatican 2.
