I cannot help but recall 1 Samuel 8:4-7 – “Then all the ancients of Israel being assembled, came to Samuel to Ramatha. And they said to him, Behold thou art old and thy sons do not walk in thy ways; make us a king to judge us, as all nations have. And the word was displeasing in the eyes of Samuel, that they should say, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed to the Lord. And the Lord said to Samuel: hearken to the voice of the people in all that they say to thee. For they have not rejected thee, but Me, that I should not reign over them.” “Modernists” and “Modernism” does describe these heretics perfectly, for they consider the Holy Catholic Church to be “old”, and they want a church in THEIR OWN image and likeness, wanting to be “as other nations”. The first time I see some female “ordained” as a deacon in my parish, and getting up to read the Gospel and give a homily, I will get up and walk out, never to return to that parish. Being forced to listen to male deacons is bad enough, with their stupid stories and fluffy lessons for life that have absolutely nothing to do with the holy Gospel. By the end of this synod, the pope will be like Obama in that he won’t read anything put before him, he’ll just sign it, and there will be the schism. But it will be he and they who will be in schism, not faithful Catholics and faithful priests and Bishops.

Unbelievable. This “spewer” woman, apparently invited, spews venom . The immediate action should be a withdrawal of invitation . I suggest a replacement , Mr.Bill Donahue, The Catholic League .
What’s the alternative ? Laity set up their own “synod” that tracks the Synod ?
I suspect you would easily get several thousand Catholics to an open forum of “listening” if a “remnant convention “ were held in Steubenville .

Replacement Mr.Bill Donahue, of The Catholic League,
and a “parallel synod”, BY THE NOT-SO-CONFUSED
LAITY, held in Stuebenville to monitor and report the
“feelings” of Hierarchical “synodalists” . . would be a
great start for “push-back” [ er, uh . . parallel listening ]
from the UNINVITED Faithful.
It answers the ages-old question of G.K. Chesterton
over a century ago: “But WHO will guard the ‘guardians’?”

My comment here also harks back to the recent
podcast which focussed on trust of one’s Bishop
and their Orthodoxy or absence of.
What if, in the immediate post-Pentecost era of
the “freshly-minted” Church after the Founder’s
Resurrection . . what if those 3000 newly baptized
Christians [ Catholics ] DIDN’T trust their Bishops
[ i.e., the original Apostles ] ?
An impossibility, in which case PENTECOST [ the
Promise, the Event itself, the centuries following
of “Preaching the Gospel” until now ] would not
have been real.
But the promised Advocate, the Holy Spirit, 2nd
Person of the Trinity, can’t NOT be real. So, the
birth of the Church —Pentecost —WAS real, DID
happen. The SAME ADVOCATE has brought
the SAME CATHOLIC CHURCH through the
ages . . to the present chaotic TODAY.
The Gospel hasn’t been cancelled. Neither has
Jesus Christ, true “reflection of the Father”.
His Church has been, and still is being buffeted
by on-going “gales”. YET Jesus is S T I L L
walking on the waves of this storm-tossed sea.
He is still walking T O W A R D S His terrified
and confused and hard-pressed people. He
isn’t going to “poof” out of existence, much as
Satan is desperate to make that happen,
Concerning their shepherds, the Bishops,
both “worst” and “best” Bishops are shown
S M I L I N G, a response to that unwritten
rule when in front of a camera: S M I L E !
. . but NOT the rule which gives grounds for
a Shepherd being good or bad, best or
worst.
“Sharing spiritual and ethical VALUES” do
not amount to heeding and LIVING the 10
Commandments-NOT-suggestions!
Nor are the HARD sayings of Jesus and the
SCARY teachings of His Church “shared”:
They’re TAUGHT, and meant to be heeded
and lived. And it’s be the lived EXAMPLE
that others will get to know “one another”.
