Last week, at a local small-town ice-cream parlour, the two “big boss” biker bikes took off from
the entrance. Our three —tiny by comparison —grandkids watched the departure, fascinated,
but also with ACCUTE hearing. In unison —without a “script” —Catherine (6), Abby (4), and
Kobie ( 3.5) they covered their ears from the noise of those two departing “choppers”. My
wife to a photo of the whole scene. Worth the proverbial “1000 words”, but we simply
headlined it with: “Heart shut to noise”. What we —children of the Father —need to do lots of
today.
Anthony! . . snuck in Pagan stuff have they? Are we scandalized? . . confused beyond normal thinking? . . shook up? . . lonely? . . lost? . . left behind? . . betrayed? . . surrounded? Well . . Let’s familiarize ourselves with it as well . . DAILY! . . until ALL our less-than-worthy weaknesses fall by the wayside.
