This is a very interesting concern BECAUSE it is not unlike the priest abuse crisis :
Do you have rouge agents free lancing who
get caught in an investigational stupidity OR coordinated activities of an organization in operation against an organized entity ?
If you recall much of the priest abuse crisis , where “criminal” , prosecutions and civil suits followed a naritive that the actions of Church leadership , when protective of their
“agents” , did so in a pattern which conformed to RICO law enforcement . Investigators , my opinion , really don’t care about Joe “pew” , they care about the “made men” AND all is fair in love and war?
Investigators, in relation to law enforcement, can then use whatever bullshit narrative they like in pursuit of criminal activity , even if it tarnishes the motivations of the well intentioned in the process. THE PROBLEM, when does the narrative of a “rogue” team become political and not crime prevention ? In other words, hypothetical , if there wereSSPX priests and Bishops still protecting criminal abusers , and an infiltration occurred ( undercover) what would the narrative be ?
Traditionalists are organized crime radicals?
Now let’s say , what if the issue is money laundering – this is a huge weak spot for any organization , especially The Church, as A LOT of money is routinely donated .
What is the quid pro quo of a donation ?
The Church likes the money, will take the money , BUT The Church ( even at parish level ) typically May know little about the donors source of money or the donors agenda . BUT, by taking the money , just to receive a gift, there is exposure? AS the gift receiver can then be investigated as participatory ? AND, if investigated , another crime is found unrelated , the discovery of pedophile protection , then a whole different can of worms is opened .
Suffice it to say, think about this , an investigatory operation is “like god” – THEY know everything and may exercise mercy or judgement . Unlike God , they can get the narrative wrong , BUT still be legal in their information acquisition . In other words, the “cover story” of investigation might be “blown” , BUTits not about the cover story !!! So a blown cover story would suggest that traditional Catholics are being gone after for politic, BUT it’s all bullshit – child abusers , human trafficking, and money laundering is undoubtably found in any number of “religious” groups everywhere. It happens that the present headline is “Catholic” wherefallen men are found , it can be anywhere USA .
All that to say, if anything the priest abuse crisis should have taught us , the robes of “Christian” are not a defense for illegal conduct where it is found .
I, for one , do have confidence for the majority of FBI street agents just doing their best like the majority of most priests. . THE problem , the bad “few” , those who may truly inject a political agenda ( “Catholic terrorist narrative “ ) as might smear the whole ( most Italian Catholics are great people ) .
Only a “devils advocate “ perspective .

We watched with interest your post regarding Sen J Jordan’s letter to the fbi. We wanted to note that we attend St Joseph Catholic Church in Sandpoint ID. A distance of 45 miles one way. We go there as it is more traditional 8:30 am Mass. We noted a person sitting (on our side) middle area and left side pews, that appeared out of place over 6-8 weeks. There are a number of visitors as it is a tourist town. But this person acted out of place, was dressed out of place but conservatively. He sat in the same area directly behind three families who always appeared conservative and usually led the prayer to St Michael after mass. That man no longer is apparent attending Mass. My wife and I commented on this person’s appearance and behavior as it occurred last year.
Watching your youtube post made us remember that person with more questions than speculation.
We are shocked by the events of the world around us. We morn that our family is torn apart by politics. We sent our children to parochial and Catholic High school and public university. We have not seen our grandchildren since covid started. So much for Catholic education.
We have to endure a “deacon” imported from CA who warned not to “gloat” regarding the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade in his “homily” after the Court’s decision was announced.
Pray for us as we will for you.
As I have said in the past many times and I will repeat once again, this is part of the final battle between Satan and Our Lady of Fatima. We are now experiencing on a daily basis a huge assault on all things Traditional Catholics believe and practice in our daily lives. For Traditional Catholics these things are non-negotiable; they are the pillars, or foundations of the faith, upon which rests Christ’s Bride, the One True Church and its Faith which our Blessed Lord has promised to protect. What should we do? Everything that supports and upholds this Faith even it is comes to our doorsteps and we are asked to give our lives for it. The Superior General, Fr. Pagliarano of the SSPX, recently made a statement to us and to the world that we are committed to this position of upholding our right to practice what we believe because it is our belief to do so. Be not afraid, Trust in God and hold to the faith.
