Beautifully said, Dr. Scott! Bishop Strickland is the very essence of a Bishop of Christ who sacrificed greatly to fulfill his consecrated commitment to preserve and disseminate the deposit of faith. It’s hard to imagine that anyone could disparage his devoutly Roman Catholic mission and non-secularized devotion.
A message to Rome….free up the solemn TLM and a re-vitalized Catholic tidal wave of faith and reverence will emerge that fully believes in the presence of Christ within the Eucharist, and within those who receive this luminous Sacrament.

Bishop Strickland letter is spot on . It calls on everyone to rely upon any supernatural faith they have been gifted with to discern and pray. His authorship brings to my awareness an inspiration to turn to God’s Word, as always.
The encouragement came to read Jeremiah chapters 51 and 52 , then read Revelation chapter 17 . The typology in our present moment is akin to
2,500 years ago ? Today’s Babylon with a base of clay ?
It will take supernatural faith to navigate our times. His Real Presence is TRUTH to our experience of His Church.

BRW I like the idea of a Eucharistic Congress held in Cathedrals – it would be easy to live stream to parishes and engage the laity in conversation with Pastors and their Deacons. Could be done on several weekends , 1/2 day sessions, over months.
