The topical theme today is fighting modernism and Paganism. The disorder of facial distortion is experiential , labeled a physical phenomena with a name which can’t be articulated or spelled – it is only a vision described as another’s subject report of their spiritual reality , through their eyes they are allowed to see the demon “near by”. The demonic realm becomes known by God’s grace or evils manipulation of mind and imagination.
There is then the consideration, when in spiritual warfare, when fighting against modernism and the demonic , is to consider that those we encounter in opposition are only “acting”. It is by an ascent of will to unconsciously embrace the designs of evil unwittingly – a Hollywood actor always has the free will ability to decline a part.
How does “modern man” know which parts to play on this “stage” of life ( Shakespearian ) ?
By way of example , I will opine that the battle against modernism and heresy is to be guided by the “Director” ( Francis ) as might instruct actors as to what role they will play and how to “act” it out. It follows, at least for the Catholic Church, in the battle against modernism, it’s not allowed to be a Mason. By this reasoning there should be restrictions to prohibit a membership to organized pride groups. Catholics should also be encouraged not to participate in pride activities . The vow of confirmation to the Catholic Church should preclude an alligance to a group, in general by advocacies, that is hostile to the Church ?
In this manner “play goers” ( observers ) can show respect and be witness to the individual dignity of the actors without a problem . Love the sinner but detest the sin. BUT , when an actor then declares the desire to willingly engage in an alternate reality , to demand Church “rights” ( communion without confession and repentance),while “acting” to engage in conduct contrary to natural and moral law, that’s where the rubber meets the road.
In the USA there is an Amendment which allows citizen actors to live out their faith . The Amendment does not grant any right to do so as an individuals opinion may decide how to do it . God’s laws ( Mosaic ) supersedes man made law.
Acting is for “play”. Loving God is for keeps.
