How can it be anything else, when sin, Hell —even
Purgatory — have been virtually cancelled.
Francis seems to live in and for the domain of
“the poor” [ but does he really ? ] and of “the suffering”,
MINUS any hint at “forever”, at the reality of ETERINITY
. . as if the “charity” of EARTHLY “accompaniment” is
“FOREVER”.

Growth and/or decline of the crop depends on the soil, fertilizer, and rain – the soil is our present day cultural consciousness. The fertilizer and rain is His Word and The Holy Spirt.
The Church, Body of Christ , are the hands and voice which sow the seed or not . There will be no harvest if no seeds are sown ; non- liturgical blessings as might sow a foreign seed will result in the cultivation of only one type of crop. The failure to sow basic seeds of life which yields flour for The Bread of Life (wheat) will result in a field of tears.
That said , when farming, the planting in soil has to be rotated. When the same soil is relied upon year after year the yield of the harvest declines .
That said, one man’s opinion, missionaries through all time went out to plant seeds in new soil or uncultivated fields . Our Lady of Guadalupe is a tremendous miracle which points to the multiplication of the harvest by God upon the introduction of new seed to previously untilled soil.
Today , most soil seems as if tilled either by Protestants or Catholics . BUT the soil is rich for planting since so little seed has been planted in recent decades – inadvertently, with good intention, there has been much planting of tears and the harvesters are blinded in their ability to distinguish between the wheat and tears.
Where can a Catholic priest plant ? The mission requires him to labor in the field , to go out and leave the “safe” confines of the parish and sanctuary of His Church .RCIA is characteristically an annual small in metrics harvest by those who desire to plant themselves in the soil of a parish garden .
My thought , priests must make a weekly effort to expand the fields under cultivation . How accomplished ? Join the evangelicals , hallelujah’s, Baptists, and Pentecostals in the planting . Go out once weekly to public community halls and hold prayer and worship services ( non- liturgical- no Mass ) . Share the word. Plant seed . Pray . Sing . Worship . The ability to educate will then flow naturally given God’s Grace. When those that come find Jesus in the worship they will ask where Jesus can be found outside of the community hall . That’s when it can be shared that He is in the Tabernace and His Resl Presence is found in the Eucharist. That’s when the Holy Spirit inflames desire and a search for forgiveness and confession. That’s when it is understood that a community hall offer fellowship which can be transitioned to an adopted child of God in communion with the Catholic Church accomplished at a parish . The RCIA classes might overflow ?

A very apt and practical analogy, Dr. Scott,
and VERY “do-able”, the more so because
the Angels [ millions ! ] and the Saints [ 1000’s ! ]
are STILL NOT in “free-fall” [ Heavenly “shooting
stars” maybe, but not “free fall” . . L.O.L. ] , but
await the efforts of the current Church MILITANT
to deal even with this “Devil’s disappearing trick”.
