However, I also notice at the top right there’s a young Muslim wife having her feet watched while her husband looks on. They’ve found a woman to supply the foot-washing office here … phew! If the Catholic priest had tried that, thing’s might not have gone well.
It’s a reminder there are “internal contradictions” here. “I’m all right; you’re all right” only works up to a point. When it comes to someone who actually believes something, they’ll expect you to play within THEIR rules.
