PODCAST: The Bishops Abuse Summit Was a Sham and Everyone Knows It

Please review post

The Pope’s Eight Point Plan is vague and there are now potentially countless Vigano’s among the nuncios

The summit left the unintended consequence of making it appear to almost everyone, the media included, that the Catholic Church is occupied by non-Catholic forces pretending to be Catholic. The grilling by the media made it clear that no one buys the official line anymore on abuse. Maybe that’s a sign of hope.

  1. I can’t say I’m surprised, but it a shame to waste so much time on nothing good. But I do agree that in the end this may end up being a good thing; at the very least, hopefully no one will get sucked in again. On the other hand, I have 3 kids and 7 grands, who may never return to the Church because of this.

    1. That is unfortunate. I suspect the reason we see in so many TLM parishes the sudden increase in attendance is because many of the faithful have sought shelter in tradition. The other option is of course to flee, which many have taken. Keep praying for them.
