Apparently Ted McCarrick hasn’t taken a Church stipend/salary since he became a Bishop. That begs a lot of questions. While I don’t know precisely where he got his money, his activities and hobnobbing with political leaders suggests strongly where he got it.
Mr. McCarrick (that’s going to take a long time to get old, by the way), is well connected to the political elites. From saying funerals for late presidents and sons of senators, to being named in Wikileaks emails of John Podesta, McCarrick had power. And with power comes money.
