There are clearly two groups of Bishops opposing one another. On the one side you have bishops who don’t seem to want the status quo to change. For whatever reason they refuse the address the abandonment of Catholic sexual morality among the priesthood and by extension the laity. On the other hand you have a group of Bishops who are standing up for traditional Catholic morality.
The fact that this summit started on the feast of St. Peter Damien AND on the feast of the Fatima children is interesting to say the least as well.
