   I found this just given interview of Austen Iverigh.
   Thought you would found it very interesting-I found it fascinating; he comes across as a very well spoken ( dangerous ) guy .

   He seems to illuminate the “view” from Rome with profound presumption of certitude in his Oxford academic training. The punditry given as to the state of The Church hits all the high notes of those topics you cover regularly . Amazing , your assessment of present state Eclesia matches his assessment as his opposite .

   Eclesial = living with “different” people (synodality).

   Synodal process= a recovery of “an old way of being” while on a partway of becoming “new”.

   Process = synod on Synodality , gatherings, listening, discerning ; the recovery of an old way as flows from the Latin American Church (liberation theology).

   Goal = holding different cultures together by means of Synodality ( “learning how to do this” )

   Catalyst = Synodality which brings “agents” who are willing to “break” from centrist clerical authorities

   Governance = Decicions come after “decision making” – “consensus” formed over time, a model as conforms to Hegelian thesis -anti thesis evolution in slow motion. Not democratic or parliamentary by vote , the structure “tied up” with Monarchy.

   Means = Diocesan consuls, parish consuls, and Church deanerys as might be formational to virtues, habits , and mindsets.

   -sticking to the script , “deleberate”
   -personnel is policy
   -direction set for next 3 years
   -Synod on Synodality on course of implementation – commissions and study groups

   -choice of dicastery heads
   -begin to address finances
   – “Jokes” Pope Leo All American and likes deficits
   -expects him to find that messaging that will oppose Trump
   -expects him to navigate the Bark of Peter in union with the global community (globalism) as will correct the world order in disarray since DJT on scene

   Austen’s seemingly given correct conclusion, given at the begging of the interview, as flows from his Oxford education, that The Church suffers from a lack of spirituality.
