   The United States had a great theologian
   whose “Saint Day” is Monday January 15,th, Martin Luther King . In his oration he gave the clear distinction between free markets of human capital (capitalism) and slavery ( communism ) ; state managed economies being a mastery over the collective .

   King’s, admonishment , in the context of race , to paraphrase , “ I have a dream …that men might be known for the content of their character , not the color of their skin “

   In short, the “value” of the human person IS who they “are” ( the expression of themselves/memories in material reality as might reflect virtues and reveal vices ). In the “character” padidigm value can be assigned’, merit , AND in economic terms merit can be considered to be “an added value “; those who purchase labor will pay more for that which is understood meets a criteria of both character and merit. The process allocates labor as a resource to its most efficient and purposeful use . It allows for God, transformation, and the acquisition of skills ( learning and education ).

   Francis should know better , or at least have some great Catholic University economists teach him what communism really is !!! It is government CONTROL of labor , an individual value is rendered meaningless, and all activities of labor used in production considered equal . The labor “value” of a priest equal to that of a street sweeper . The “value” of an Apple technology innovator equal to that of a short order cook. The person is given compensation , BUT it is a government determined wage , not a “fairly earned” profit for one’s work . In effect, communism goes directly against scripture, as God’s Word declares that man should be paid fairly , deserving of an ability to save, invest , and own property .

   If Francis understood that communism = Egyptian slavery , it might well change all his thoughts on liberation theology ?
