1. McIlroy, eh? And haven’t I just seen the names Dougherty and Dolan in respect of St … Patrick’s?

   It’s an ambition of mine to go on pilgrimage to Ireland. Wandering Irish monks evangelized Scotland and much of England. When the Norse reached Iceland, they found them there. The monasteries of Ireland preserved learning when much of Europe was overrun by barbarians. Duns Scotus Erigena, if memory serves, was one of the few people in Western Europe to know Greek. The landscape of the Emerald Isle is crowded with holy sites. Our Lady came to Knock.

   But … but I think some Irishmen in the New World have also found the Church to be a useful institution for personal advancement … just as the Democratic Party has been (not that when it comes to politics the Republicans have clean hands either). Doesn’t Mr [sic] Biden present himself as a proud Irishman? Excuse me if I prefer Edmund Burke .… or Cardinal Burke, for the matter of that, or Malachi Martin or Fulton Sheen (is that a form of Sheehan?).

2. Regarding violation of the Roman Missal [ @4:15 ff . .
   laymen parroting the various bodily signs done by
   the Priest at the Altar] . . I recall when Archbishop
   [ Jean-Marie Lustiger] first said Mass in Notre Dame
   Cathedral in Paris, the Congregation—in the “spirit of Vatican II”,
   I suppose—was already reciting the prayers of the Mass
   WITH the Priest.

   When they had begun to say THE WORDS OF CONSECRATION
   Archbishop Lustiger shouted . . “ S I L E N C E !! ”

   Since then we’ve had “the reform of the reform”. So
   what is Pope Francis wanting with [ MORE ?? ] Liturgical
   reform ?

   We, on the untouchable outside of this Pope’s dictatorial
   moves, are clearly waiting for the return of a Pope who
   is “in sync” with the STABILITY of “The Mystical Body
   Of Christ.”

   in unison with their families, cried out against [ THEIR ]
   perception that they are condemned by the Church
   and [by] individual Catholics [who live by Christ’s and
   His Church’s teaching on the existence and Reality of
   Hell] in a devastating way.”

   Well, uh . . no kidding. Hell I S devastating! So is
   mortal sin, leading down to Hell. So is NO LONGER
   PRAYING, which is the abandoning of the Ten
   Commandments and of the Sacramental Life of the
   Church.

   Sts. Alphonsus Liguori, Teresa of Avila, and John Vianney
   [ to name only three “heavy hitters” ] are equally “in sync”
   and clear on the FINAL CONSEQUENCE of giving up praying.

   Our Lady, at Fatima, very briefly exposed what Hell is
   to the terrified children, saying, “that is where POOR
   SINNERS go”.

   For myself, I’ve always imagined the tone of her blest
   voice [cf. St. Bernadette at Lourdes ] on this occasion
   expressing untold SORROW for the LOSS of those souls.

   Compared to this —Our Lady of Sorrows’ voice —what
   do LGBT “anguished voices” amount to ??

   They believe in NEITHER Heaven NOR Hell, but in
   a sacrilegiously-adored humanism [ “you can be
   like gods” ], which, in the light of the Jesus’ and
   his Church’s teaching, is totally false because
   depending on subjective FEELINGS.

   That kind of “anguish” doesn’t “hold a candle to” the
   Sorrow of the Queen of Heaven . . of our Mother, and
   the OBJECTIVE Eternal loss of souls.
