For some it won’t be a surprise that Cardinal Oullet turned on the Amazon Synod, or that he did it in a rather soft manner. But still, it’s something and these days I’ll take all the positive signs I can get.

Good words from Cardinal Oullet. Let’s hope he keeps it up and gains courage to take his concerns to the next step. Hopefully, this is not a move to make himself politically acceptable to the more conservative Cardinals as a possible Pope.
