The canvassing of public opinion , the procurement of votes, has become a remarkable exercise in “democracy” as accomplished by Bishop Stowe. The art form , an open letter,the means by which pre conclave electioneering is directed towards any red hat who might “listen”.
Interestingly ,at the same time, Bishop Stowe aims to garner the attention of the pew sitter who might fashion themselves eager to make a lawn sign as might replace an aging driveway horse jockey statuette (the 1950’s caricature of “everything” Jim Crow racist, pre conciliar, in keeping with Kentucky Derby Sovereignty’s win over Journalism).The political Church parties distinguished,The Sheep Fold & The Wolves Den.
Messaging, Bishop Stowe desires to communicate himself to the pack prior to the installation of a new leader ?
It follows, to the extent sheep can be distinguished from wolves,as might allow common sense to discern, is that the recognition of “old ways” ministries provides the past from which “new ways” evolve. The seven sacraments of “New Ways Ministry” are then best sarcastically understood:
-Baptism confers original sanctifying grace that erases original sin – genetic “inclination’s”, while retained, inherently follow a “gay is good”order.
-Confirmation is a proof of the church that a person attains full acceptance by the community upon adulterous activities ,divorce, a “trans” life style, or participation in the “gay is good” rite by honoring the pride flag.
-Marriage, same-sex, also known as gay marriage, is the union of a couple of the same sex, a relationship which offers dignity and invites inclusiveness
-Eucharistic participation is provided for by Jesus Christ who equitably gives of himself, in a form that employs symbolism, inherent in the eating of bread and drinking wine.
-Annointing of the sick by elders is performative, using oil and prayers of faith,as may save one who is ill.
-Reconciliation is the act of uniting people or groups to become friendly again, tolerance after an argument or disagreement.
-Holy Orders, for men or women, establishes a civil body into an order of hierarchy.
