   I posted your excellent video on African sustainability on Linked In:

   CHARITY , for the “love” of money and resources, OR not ( Jesus # 1 !!! ??? )

   I have some familiarity with “USA” money going to Africa and India, giving gifts to evangelical churches orriented in mission: 1st , evangelization and worship in The Name of Jesus, 2nd food, agricultural development, water management, orphans, education., material resources. When giving as citizen,as a USA individual,I have worn my consecration to the Catholic Church on my sleeve . ERGO: the evangelicals are given to know a proclamation of my Catholic faith, gifting to Christians who do not yet know themselves as Catholic Church Catholics. Hypothetical, if I were to obtain grant monies for a 501-C-3 which I started , I would gift by the mission of the 501-C-3, as organized in the order of charity just described.

   All that to say, Cardinal Ambongo, IMO, is correct on the geopolitics. Which asks, if he were given the money,how would he spend it ? AND, money going to Africa, by the USAID “model” , has been and/or is being accomplished by innumerable organizations – some with “good” uses and some with “not so good” uses of money (from my Catholic perspective) . I venture to speculate, the vast majority of USAID granted organizations, with Africa mission statements ,are all about the “progressive” use of gifting money and resources ( “democracy” education, health care ( birth control, sterilization procedures, abortions ),human “rights” ( LBGTQ +++, ), and the allocation of economic resources as might promote “stable” governments with low birth rates ( population control) .

   Cardinal Abongo is correct, IMO, if you get the agenda on Catholicism, Jesus #1 , giving money as a “pure” gift ( not pushing modernist USA ) , then God’s Will would happen with greater Joy and Peace ?

   Yes, it is astonishing that an academic steps forward to denigrate Carlo Acutis. The real questions, why and why now ? With canonization declared for September , an opinion offered at this late “stage” carries no weight ?

   More so, the complaint seems to be about “miracles” ? The foundation of his complaint is that Carlo didn’t understand The Eucharist ( didn’t know Jesus, His Real Presence )?

   Carlo, a child, barely an adolescent, seems to have lived his life as Jesus encouraged , “be like a little child “ . Carlo’s life exemplary , a type of St.Therese Lisieux, embracing a simple faith to believe and Adore. His Adoration gave him to know Jesus, His Real Presence, and to know The Miracle, that which occurs with every consecration at every Mass. His focus on Eucharistic Miracles only an extension of that which he “saw” by transubstatiation upon the prayer of His Priest (s) at every Mass.

   The “negativity” of this critical theologian is deserving of broad exposure – the perfect example of a “smart guy” incapable of following the advice of Jesus, “be like a little child”
