And, in related news, the Vatican is going broke. Amazing how that works, isn’t it?

  1. “Amazing how that works, isn’t it?”

Uh, yeah, “go woke, go broke.”

But when you really get down to it the “woke” ideology is just a shell-game, it’s really just another way in which money and power is consolidated whatever appearances might be. We all know this. We all read Animal Farm. The New Argentinian President recently made that point, and who knows what he’s really about and how he’ll shake out. But he’s not wrong there.

All the money in the West is flowing into the hands of the “globalist” elite in the West (while, interestingly, the global East and South opt out). And this elite seem to be who “Francis” really serves. Mr G—s, Mr S—s, B——k, etc. Yet *they* don’t seem to be interested in pushing any of their pelf over to the Vatican. Funny how that works, isn’t it?

I suspect in the long run when everything’s sorted out and (relative) sanity and probity and even spirituality return to the world “Francis” will appear in the history books as a Judas-like figure who will make schoolboys shudder in disgust for centuries to come. What a legacy!

    1. Regarding Francis and the Globalist Elite, from
a Civil War reflection, during a pause:

John Dooley, Confederate Soldier: His War Journal,
      first published 1945; re-published 2014, Pickle Partners
Publishing. Ed. Joseph T. Durkin, SJ [ American History,
      Georgetown Univ ].

It seems to Prairie Grandpa that the following entry by
Confederate Irish Immigrant Private John Dooley, could
easily be transposed onto the current Bergoglian Civil War
by stealth [ against the Catholic Church ] with very similar
      SPIRITUAL debasements :

[ during an “interlude at Fredrick, Virginia, second battle of
      Bull Run/ Manassas, 1862 ]

“ . . one of the vilest Evils produced and encouraged
by our Civil War [ namely ] that it often MADE THE OLDEST
AND NEAREST NEIGHBOURS the bitterest enemies
and mutual spies . . it was not enough that grim-faced
war swept with fire and sword through a defenceless
country; that rich and abundant crops were wantonly . .
downtrodden by a savage soldiery; that blooming fields
and fragrant gardens, [ before technocracy, everone
then possessed a heightened sense of smell, of beauty,
and of nature ] luscious orchards and verdant lawns
withered and dried like accursed things beneath the
singeing flame of lawless invaders; that hamlets and
whole towns were plundered, their peoples outraged
and their houses left masses of charred and smoking
ruins; that through every portion of this devastated land
the homesteads of the poor and the mansions of the
rich were pillaged, fired and, on their smoking ruins,
the most abominable and fiendish outrages
perpetrated upon . . poor defenceless women and
      children . . “

As if these weren’t enough, “. . but there arose even
amid such misery men and women who, to curry
favour with the invader, pointed out their neighbours
for still more dreadful punishments. “
      — Chapter Two: Second Manassas and Afterwards.

The Civil War leadership —both Confederate & Union —
were not Atheist, as were the leaders of 20th century
      “world wars”.
