My family goes to Sacred Heart Church in Bowie, MD, a conservative congregation going back to the 1720s. We recently found several hundred unmarked slave graves on our church property, formerly owned by the Jesuits! This was a big stink a year ago.
At Sacred Heart we have lots of incense, no altar girls and lots of home schoolers. I’m waiting for our Cdl McElroy to try to push altar girls and push around our home schoolers.
We support a regional Catholic School where my daughter Meghan, former Army nurse, serves as the school nurse. Among Pius X School alums are Bishop Knestout, former secretary for MCCarrick! And we also have the former Heisman winner and Bears QB.
We’ll let you know if we see anything strange happening!
OBTW, one of my father’s oldest friends was the late Bishop of Birmingham, Dave Foley, who was also my Godfather.
