  1. Anthony, your concluding remarks are most appropriate. Msgr. Knox’s quote, “the ticket”. My wife and I pray daily Ste.Thérèse’s “Prayer for Priests”, which I’ll leave here:
“O Jesus, I pray for your faithful and fervent Priests; (but equally) for your unfaithful and lukewarm Priests. (Lead these to the foot of your saving Cross) . . for your Priests labouring at home or abroad in Mission fields . . for your tempted, lonely, and desolate Priests (lead these too to the foot of your Cross, where you will renew & rejuvenate them) . . for your young Priests (especially Pastors of Parishes) . . for retired Priests (do not let them fizzle out like a flat tire!) . . for your dying Priests (send them Sts. Joseph & Faustina) . . for the souls of your Priests in purgatory . . above all, for the Priests dearest to me: the Priest who Baptized me; the Priests who absolved me from my sins; the Priests at whose Masses I assisted and who gave me Your Body and Blood in Holy Communion; the Priests who taught and instructed me; all the Priests to whom I’m indebted in any other way now ( especially those preaching the Catholic Faith on the Internet).
O Jesus, keep them all close to Your Heart, and bless them
abundantly now —in time —and, after death, forever in Eternity.
    Amen.”
    Jesus, I trust in You!
“A word or a smile is often enough to put fresh life into a despondent soul (whether young toddler or old toddler).” (Ste. Thérèse of Lisieux)

    Blessings!

  2. Have attended bogus ordo Mass in two fairly remote parishes on the Olympia peninsula and the San Juan Islands, here in Washington. Not only are the priests share across the area traveling 30-40 miles between locations on the same Saturday and Sunday, one priest was African and one from India. The Masses I attended were the only Mass scheduled for that location on that weekend. Both were lightly attended, though both sported poorly played guitar accompaniment. The priest from India flat out refused to place the Host on my tongue, so I refused to be served at all, I didn’t even try with the African priest.
Your article on this subject greatly appreciated. It confirmed what I have heard in general, though the statistics were new. I attend FSSP parish North American Martyrs in Edmonds, WA where we are blessed with two priests for roughly 700 parishioners, celebrating four Masses each Sunday and one daily, with additional Masses on 1st Friday and Saturday and Holy Days of obligation.
I too am a convert (from methodist upbringing) and am always blessed by your work informing us of the going’s on in the Church. Thank you and know that I pray for you daily.
