Guest Submission: (Poetry) Whispers of Hope

Please review post

by Corinna Swetz

In the shadows of the dark

and stormy, frozen night

the soul can feel the challenge

to look for the coming light

but in the face of struggle

and pain that pierces deep

Our Lady kindly whispers

“My child, do not weep.”

If we but saw a glimmer

of what awaits the just,

the clouds of doom before us

would blow away like dust

And if we cling to Jesus

and trust His Mother’s Heart

a brighter day is dawning,

the clouds will soon depart.
