Thanks Anthony for a projection of what the Church might look like in 2050. A most optimistic view in my opinion. To me a more apt future scenario is that the Bergoglian Catholic Church will be purely political with readings from Karl Marx and others. The “communion” service will be a homage to the current dictator. It will be the Catholic Church of the New World Order encompassing all religions and the official religion of the then Communist World. The true Catholic Church will be underground with traditional Catholic Masses. Of course, there will be martyrs, etc.
