Francis On Eco-Conversions And Co-Redemptrix Foolishness

Please review post

I hope that I’m not the only one not that bothered by his weird remarks about Our Lady’s role as Co-Redemptrix, not because I agree with him but because he is the last person I want settling hotly debated theological points.

  1. Giving Mary the title of Co-Redeemer is NOT…..I repeat…NOT saying that her suffering was NEEDED to open the gates of heaven or even helped with opening the gates…..Christs sufferings ALONE did that, but calling her Co-Redeemer is definitely a GOOD and JUSTIFIABLE title because of her GREAT suffering !!!

Aren’t we ALL little co-redeemers when we offer our sufferings to God to help save souls ??? Weren’t the children at Fatima little co-redeemers when they offered up their sufferings as requested by Mary and God to HELP save souls ??? If all of our little itty bitty and great sufferings HELP to save souls…..to get people through that gate that was opened by Christs sufferings ALONE…….then imagine what Marys GREAT sufferings did to HELP save souls !!!

The GOOD Lord gave every human being the ‘ability’ to SHARE in basically everything….from creating the world (growing trees and plants and fertilizing them etc.), to creating human beings ! God NEEDS us (so to speak), or should I say WANTS us, for creating people because it is His Will that we have a ‘share’ in it. He could make it where we just appear or drop out of the clouds, but that’s not His Will, because He wants us to have a share in creation. He even wants us to have a share in His Divinity, which is why Christ came to us as a human…..His share in our humanity gives us a share in His Divinity.

So it goes without saying that He ALSO would want us to have a ‘share’ in His redeeming of humanity ! So since we can all be called little co-redeemers, and little co-creators, shouldn’t the Mother of Our Lord who suffered more than any of us be able to have the title….Co-Redeemer/Co-Redemptrix ???

  2. St. Robert Bellarmine, De Christo, Book V, Chap. 1: “But Christ Himself alone [solus] paid for us, and reconciled us to God by His own blood.”

Trent infallibly defined that “Christ our Lord, who alone (solus) is our redeemer”.

Pope Pius IV, Council of Trent, Sess. 25, On Invocation, Veneration and Relics of Saints, and on Sacred Images, ex cathedra: “… the saints, who reign with Christ, offer up their prayers to God for men; and that it is good and useful to invoke them suppliantly and, in order to obtain favors from God through His Son JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD, WHO ALONE IS OUR REDEEMER and Savior… And they must also teach that images of Christ, the virgin mother of God and the other saints should be set up and kept… But if anyone should teach or maintain anything contrary to these decrees, let him be anathema.” (Denz. 984)

Catechism of the Council of Trent, Part III: The Decalogue – First Commandment – Thou Shalt not Have Strange Gods, etc. – Objections Answered: “True, there is but one Mediator, Christ the Lord, who alone has reconciled us to the heavenly Father through His blood, and who, having obtained eternal redemption, and having entered once into the holies, ceases not to intercede for us.”

Fr. Joseph Pohle, A Dogmatic Treatise On The Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother Of God, Imprimatur, 1919: “… it would be wrong to call her [Mary] redemptrix, because this title obscures the important truth that she herself was redeemed through the merits of Jesus Christ by what theologians technically term preredemption. Even the title coredemptrix had better be avoided as misleading. The titles redemptrix and coredemptrix were never applied to the Blessed Virgin before the sixteenth century; they are the invention of comparatively recent writers…”

    1. Please just stop spewing things of which you don’t know things about. Anybody can cut and paste things to make it seem you are providing proof when you are really just manipulating the information from the saints to “proof” a point you cannot really proof. She is for all Eternity the Mother of The Redeemer, the Co-Redemptrix, the Most Blessed Virgin Mary.

  3. Mother Mary has had a unique place in the church, it’s our tradition. Take Medugorje, the number of both physical and spiritual healings draws catholics continously there. She appeared at Fatima in 1917 with an urgent message to consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart, the Vatican disobeyed and Russia went atheist killing millions of Christians and as she said, spreading its errors throughout the world and what not.

Most catholics have experienced Mother Mary’s love, graces, help in prayer. Last week I went for her weekly Wednesday novena, mass, rosary, litany etc. I left that novena in great peace as I was restless that day.

Yesterday I rushed to church to urgently pray and made the stations of the cross, rosary, st philomenas novena etc. as I came across a born again prophecy from many sources that the Abraham Lincoln will be sunk. Hopefully this passes away through Our Lady’s intercession.

I read a book by Benny Hinn and there he mentions that when he visited the Vatican, he left with the opinion that they lack the Holy Spirit. Now I notice this too but no worry as Mother Mary is the mother of the church and its under her mantle. The Pope’s surprising views’ She’s only a mother, a woman…… ‘ when speaking on the co-redemptrix issue shows lack of the Holy Spirit and succumbing to incorrect protestant ideology.

To a holy lady of the Greek orthodox church, Jesus exhorts devotion and pray to his mother saying’ She is daughter to the Father, mother of the son and bride to the Holy Spirit ‘He adds, if you need the Holy Spirit urgently say this prayer’ Come Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, your beloved bride. Amen.’

The words’ Hail Mary, full of grace, The lord is with thee…… ‘ does not this speak volumes?

  4. I saw the term co-redemtrix in the title for this video and since I have tried to learn the Church’s position on this I listened to your video. Now I still do not know for sure where it is doctrine or dogma or just something that has been under debate for centuries by the theologians.

Sorry but nothing in this video added clarity or facts.

I have also tried to research the term “Mediatrix of all graces” for the Blessed Mother.

I know for sure there is a verse in one of the epistles that states

    King James Bible
    For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

    Douay-Rheims Bible
For there is one God, and one mediator of God and men, the man Christ Jesus:

    mediator between or
    mediator of ????

Your comment that “Mary “participates in” the passion and death is something I do not understand. Jesus did that one hundred percent on His own.
