Cardinal Muller’s best statement:
““The only foundation we have is the Word of God which, made Flesh in Jesus Christ, the Word of the Father, entered into the context of all history. Here is the fullness of time. This is the only foundation. ‘No one can lay any foundation other than the one that is laid: Jesus Christ’ (1 Cor 3:11).”
It is the implications of this statement for us that the Church must define from age to age. This is exactly what is not being done in our present age. For example, it should be perfectly clear that nearly everything the Democrat Party wishes to accomplish is bad and anti-Christian. We expect our Pope and Bishops to speak out loud and clear on this matter. If they had done this in the past our present condition in the world would not be as problematic as it is.
