Is it THAT important to comment on EVERY little
thing?
My dust-storm-battered head is going to hunker
down in some Prairie sod hut, and wait for the
storm to pass, and then go out to see which
topics have collected the thickest layer of dust.
It will, of course, be all questions which Francis & Team
have considered “Rigid”: Sacred Scripture, Sacred
Tradition, Sacred Magisterial Teaching, the Wisdom
of the Saints . . forever THERE —waiting to be
read, contemplated, and internalized clear direction,
spiritual wealth, and
Nor would Francis & Team have found many, if any,
“deep listening to” [ reading; reflecting on in prayer ]
these foundations of the Faith . . because a majority
“synodalists” would never think to dive into a
recent Catechism on all these BASICS of the Faith,
i.e., Bishop Schneider’s Conpendium, CREDO.
Instead they’d still be fruitlessly “waiting for godot”
[ Eugene O’Neill’s stage play ], having been made
blind by their craven fear of the Truth, and addicted
to yet MORE “discussing”. “Gee, maybe, but maybe,
there’s ONE MORE little item we “should” discuss
until Burt’s cows come home, ’cause, like those cows
we gotta really CHEW our cud, before swallowing all
that stubble and hay.”
Scripture tells that “many walked with Him no more”
after Jesus revealed Who He was: “Unless you eat of
the Bread of Life, and drink of His Blood, you can
have NO LIFE in you.”

My take, Bishop Baron “threads the needle “ . He IS traditional , but , by your analysis , his history suggests ,until now,
he has been a loyal soldier, “go along to get along “. His authorship, NOW , a reflection of the double edge sword at work – The Spirit provoking a discernment, there is no middle ground in relation to orthodoxy. He seems to me to declare “Jesus I Trust in You”.
